Great walk Jerusalem-Emmaus Nicopolis on Easter Monday
As every year on Easter Monday, The Community of the Beatitudes of Emmaus-Nicopolis organises a big walk to Emmaus from Jerusalem. The departure is planned at 6 am from the Cenacle, on Mount Sion. At 5.00 pm the solemn Mass will be celebrated in the Basilica, presided over by S.B. Mgr. Pizzaballa, Patriarch of Jerusalem of the Latins.

5.50 am: Meeting of the participants in the Cenacle (Mount Zion - Jerusalem)
6.00 am: Departure
12.00 am: Possibility to join the group for the second part of the walk, at the roundabout before the sports center of Neve Ilan (where there is a stop for a sack lunch). Departure 12.30.
3.00 - 4.00 pm approximately: Arrival to Emmaus Nicopolis (Latrun).
It is a 30km walk and takes about 8 hours. Bring sack lunch.
5.00 pm: Solemn Eucharist in the Basilica of the holy place of Emmaus, celebrated by S.B. Mgr. Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
