Advent Series: Sparks of Light – every Tuesday at 19:00
Fr. Garrett Gundlach, S.J. of Bethlehem University will guide participants from Holy Trinity and St. Catherine’s in an exploration of darkness and light this Advent season. The series will be held on four Tuesdays at noon EST beginning November 25.

Armenian Quarter Music & Art Festival 4–14 December 2025
with the blessing of Archbishop Nourhan Manougian
- 4 December at 19:00 with a performance by the Shushik Band at St. Toros Church, followed by a reception.
- 6 December at 19:00, H.E. Avedisian will inaugurate an Armenian art exhibition at the Armenian Patriarchate, with a ceramics market to follow.
- 8 December at 19:00, Yoav Loeff presents a lecture entitled “The Armenian Genocide in Israeli Society,” preceded by the AMASE & NAYI film screening “From the Holy Land.”
- 11 December at 19:00, Doreen Sassine and Lika Mkrtchyan perform at the Armenian Seminary Hall during an evening of sacred Armenian music. The festival concludes
- 14 December at 19:00 with Julia Shmuelkina in a closing concert at St. Nicholas Monastery in Jaffa. Tickets cost 50 NIS

YMCA on King David Street
Sunday, 30 November 2025 at 17:00 (5:00 pm):
- The tree‑lighting event usually includes music, the ringing of the YMCA tower bells, a festive atmosphere — lights, holiday decorations — and is open to the public.
- Alongside that, the YMCA runs a Christmas Fair / Market (bazaar) / Winter Market) — with handmade gifts, food & drinks, warm drinks, family activities, and more.
- For 2025, the Market dates are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from December 4 until December 27 (plus a New Year weekend January 1–3). Opening hours: Thursdays 17:00–22:00; Fridays & Saturdays 12:00–22:00. Entry fee 20 NIS per person (children under 12 free).
